‘The Lawyer in Blue Jeans Group’ has announced a four-part program to help troubled homeowners with Southern California loan modifications.

The move was apparently a parallel one to Obama’s “Making Home Affordable” program. Even the name “Making Loan Modification Affordable” is a direct spin-off of the said program by Obama. The objectives of the “Making Loan Modification Affordable” program aims to help struggling homeowners by giving them four options:

1)    a $500 workshop that teaches homeowners how to package and present their please for California loan modifications.
2)    A $1,000 workshop with one-on-on attorney consultations and telephone support.
3)    A $2,000 workshop with a lawyer helping the homeowner that helps with the documents.
4)    $4,000 for full legal support and assistance in the whole loan modification procedure.

These four parts of the “Making Loan Modification Affordable” are all services offered by The Lawyer in Blue Jeans Group, citing that homeowners seeking California loan modifications usually do not have the financial capabilities to actually seek full legal support.

Jeff Isaac, the CEO of the law firm, says it is doing its part to not only assist Southern California homeowners with their loan modifications but to curb fraudulent loan modification companies. Many other for-profit companies that provide questionable California loan modifications do not actually provide hands-on assistance from a lawyer. Their lawyers and attorneys, if any, are only there for a consultation role. These so-called lawyers barely even look at their clients, since the companies usually determine whether their attorneys should be consulted or not.

The Lawyer in Blue Jeans Group is a law firm based in San Diego, California that claims to provide legal assistance that is affordable and down-to-earth. Jeff Isaac also appears on a weekly basis on KUSI Channel 9, and is also the host of the radio program “The Lawyer in Blue Jeans” on 760 KFMB AM.
